Mentor Baseball League

The “in-house” program is designed for children ages 5-18+ and focuses on three primary characteristics:

Learning and continuous development – Instruct players on the fundamentals of baseball while building confidence and encouraging self-improvement.
Sportsmanship – Teach and instill a sense of respect toward teammates, coaches, and themselves.
Love For the Game – Have fun while providing an enjoyable experience to players of all skill levels.

All this is possible because of our volunteers. Without the help of these individuals, our programs would not exist. We are truly grateful to everyone, past and present, who has dedicated countless hours teaching the local youth the game of baseball.

Ages

Mentor Baseball offers divisions for players of all ages beginning with T-Ball (4-5) all the way to Seniors (18+).

When

The Mentor Baseball League's Opening Day will be:

8u and up: Saturday May 2nd, 2026

7u and below: Saturday May 9th, 2026

Where

Mentor Baseball plays most of our league games at Garfield Park. Mentor Baseball utilizes other fields for various age groups at Mentor High School and some of the elementary schools in Mentor.

Practices

Teams will get two scheduled practices a wee through the month of April after the teams are assembled. Fields are available throughout the regular season for coaches to schedule additional practice time.

Games

Every division is different, but teams should expect to play 12-16 games a season including playoffs (eligible divisions) which all teams are included.

Jerseys

For the 2026 season Mentor Baseball is going to try and accommodate jersey sizes for our younger divisions. Included in cost of registration.

When is Picture Day?

Every year, Picture Day is during Opening Day. Rain or Shine, even if games are canceled we will still host pictures.
